Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the news at the end of November and took photos in Kensington Palace’s Sunken Garden soon after.
They have released their perfectly lit, professionally edited engagement photos, which were taken by fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski, the palace shared in a tweet.
The first photo the palace tweeted shows the couple cuddled on the steps of Frogmore House, Markle’s left ring hand draped over Harry’s knee. In the second tweeted photo, which is in black and white, we see a smiling Harry with his bride, and the ring, Harry’s pick from Botswana, gets a spotlight then, too.
Lubomirski said: "It was an incredible honour to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be witness to this young couple’s love for one another."
"I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together."
