Syrian singer Rouwaida Attieh announced that she has separated from her fiance Ismail.
The stars have only been engaged for a short period of time.
But Star Academy singer Ismail shared the sad news on his Facebook account, and announced that him and Rouwaida have ended their engagement.
Rouwaida asked the media politely to keep out of this personal issue and respect their privacy.
She also announced that even though they have separated, their duet is still in the workds, and wished that her fans would support her.
