Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton ended their marriage and had a divorce in 2015, when rumors arose that Miranda Lambert had been having an affair.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Miranda Lambert opens up about the heartbreak she experienced after the divorce.
"I won’t look at things ever again in the same light, because different things in your life bring you to a deeper level with yourself," the singer said in the interview.
"I won’t take pain for granted anymore."
Fans say that her side of the story is told on her new album, The Weight of These Wings, which won Album of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
And Miranda Lambert confirmed by saying, "If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened, it’s all on there. There’s no mystery anymore. Take from it what you will."
Shortly after their split, she and Blake Shelton started into new relationships. Miranda Lambert is now with R&B artist Anderson East. Blake Shelton began dating Gwen Stefani, his cohost on The Voice, and it's been rumored that the two have wedding bells in their future.
