Father of the Bride: How to Include Him
Every bride wants to make everyone feel included at her wedding, especially her parents, and one of the hardest parts of any bride is to say goodbye to her father while she starts off her new journey and chapter.
He might show it and he might not, but the father of the bride will definitely be the most emotional person on your wedding day. He just realized his little girl is getting married and will have a life of her own, so make him feel like he plays an important role at your wedding.
We have a few ideas that can make your father feel how grateful you are and how much you love him:

Ask him for something old
If you want to follow the tradition “Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue,” your father is your go-to person. Many brides take something old, borrowed, or blue from their mothers or grandmothers, but why not take something from your dad as well? Use his tie pin, handkerchief, or cufflinks, and tie them to your bouquet or sew them on your dress.
Father-daughter dance
Plan a special father-daughter dance with him; you can even take dance lessons together before the wedding which will keep him occupied throughout the planning process before the big day.

Ask him to give a speech
Tell your father that you would love it if he could read a speech or a blessing during the wedding. You can even help him pick out a poem or passage to read.
Show off his talent
If your dad plays any musical instrument, or even has a nice voice and loves to sing, ask him to play or sing something during the wedding, if he loves to build things ask him to help you build a backdrop for your pictures or a beautiful cake stand.
