The Red Sea Project is an ambitious and luxurious tourism development taking shape along the west coast of Saudi Arabia. It's one of the world's most exciting regenerative tourism projects, aiming to set new standards in sustainable development while offering visitors an unforgettable experience.
The project covers over 28,000 square kilometers, encompassing a stunning archipelago of more than 90 pristine islands, dormant volcanoes, and vast desert landscapes.
At its core is a commitment to regenerative tourism, meaning it aims to leave the environment in a better state than before. This involves protecting and enhancing the natural ecosystems, including coral reefs, mangroves, and wildlife. The Project aims to redefine the relationship between luxury tourism and the natural world. It will offer high-end accommodations, world-class dining, and unique experiences while minimizing its environmental footprint.
The entire project is expected to be fully realized by 2030, with 50 resorts across 22 islands and 6 inland sites.
