Wedding Colors Inspired by The 2021 Colors of The Year
Pantone has announced their 2021 color of the year, or should we say colors? Yes, there are two!
Pantone picked 2 beautiful colors that complement each other very well. One is Ultimate Grey and the other is Illuminating Yellow.
According to Pantone, a US company that is known for its old matching system, the two colors of grey and yellow were picked as a combination that 'gives us hope'.
The color experts at Pantone wanted to choose a color combination that aims for a message of happiness supported by fortitude.
2020 was definitely not an easy year for anyone, especially brides, grooms, and the wedding industry, so these 2 colors are just perfect to give us hope for 2021.
Pantone’s press release said: "The combination … is aspirational and gives us hope. We need to feel that everything is going to get brighter".

The grey is inspired by the color of pebbles on the beach, which encourages feelings of composure, steadiness, and resilience. While the yellow is like our light at the end of the tunnel or sunshine on a cloudy day. Together the two colors show the world's resiliency as we head into 2021.
How to Include the 2021 Colors in Your Wedding
Yellow is one of the hottest colors for weddings in 2021, it is vibrant, sunny, and happy! We will be seeing a lot of yellow at weddings in 2021, especially at summer weddings, beach weddings, and outdoor weddings. Think of beautiful bright yellow sunflowers for a summer wedding or any yellow flowers and blooms you love.
Why not have the trendiest wedding by using lemons at your wedding! They are after all the perfect shade of yellow!
You can always use the timeless grey as a base, for example, in the linens, cutlery, or chairs and other details such as your wedding invitations, or bridesmaid dresses.
You will not find any difficulty using these two colors together or separately as they both compliment each other effortlessly.
