Sheikha Hissa to Marry Sheikh Maktoum in Royal Wedding
The daughter of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikha Hissa and Sheikh Maktoum bin Majid Al Maktoum got married on April 25.
Arabian Royal Agency shared images of the marble-engraved invitations to the wedding ceremony that is a part of the wedding of Sheikha Hissa, daughter of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Maktoum, son of Sheikh Majid bin Obaid Al Maktoum.
The wedding was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; and other senior members of the royal family.
Her Highness Sheikha Hissa bint Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the daughter of the late Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates, and Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikha Hissa authored Tajaarub: From a Horsewoman’s Journey, described as an "Arab girl’s treasured tales of growing up among horses", in 2014. The book draws inspiration from the royal’s upbringing among majestic animals and her devotion to equestrian sports.
The passionate horsewoman majored in International Studies at Zayed University. Sheikha Hissa took the reins at Shadwell Shud, a global racing and breeding enterprise consisting of both Thoroughbred and Arabian horses, continuing Sheikh Hamdan’s legacy in a leadership role, as per reports by BloodHorse.
