The grandeur of the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi witnessed a magnificent wedding that left everyone spellbound. Fahima and Mubeen, a beautiful Indian couple, embarked on a journey of eternal love, surrounded by opulence and elegance.
With the blessing of M A Ashraf Ali, the father of the bride, who is also the younger brother of Yusuf Ali the owner of Lulu International Group, the wedding festivities unfolded in a series of remarkable events, culminating in a celebration that will forever be etched in their hearts.
Mehendi: Embracing Bollywood Magic at Atlantis the Palm:
The journey of Fahima and Mubeen's wedding extravaganza commenced with the Mehendi ceremony held at the Atlantis the Palm Ballroom on 2 June 2023. Inspired by the movie and song "Mastani" from "Bajirao Mastani", the Mehendi theme revolved around the majestic Sheesh Mahal and the intricate interiors of Shaniwarwada. Every detail was meticulously curated to create a Bollywood movie-like ambiance, a true feast for the senses.
As guests entered the ballroom, they were greeted by an awe-inspiring sight. A long walkway, adorned with exquisite crystal stands, lounges, and intricate printed designs, guided them toward the vibrant dance floor in the center. Reflecting the grandeur of the Bajirao dance platform, the floor design evoked a sense of grace and beauty.
The ceiling installations added a touch of magic, featuring stunning floral arrangements and sparkling chandeliers. Four corner installations with mashrabiya borders and florals, along with a central chandelier, captured the essence of opulence. The fifth ceiling décor, positioned above the dance floor, showcased a mesmerizing blend of mashrabiya, drapes, florals, and five captivating chandeliers.
The stage backdrop, exuding royal charm, was crafted with intricate carvings using resin. Fresh flowers in whites and neutral shades adorned every corner, with a special emphasis on jasmine, fulfilling the family's request for its fragrance. Jasmine borders graced the entrance arches and hung from tall centerpieces, while over 30 diffusers placed strategically throughout the venue released the intoxicating scent of jasmine, creating an unforgettable sensory experience.
Nikaah and Reception: A Roman Enchanted Garden at Emirates Palace:
On the 4th of June 2023, Fahima and Mubeen's love story reached its pinnacle as they embarked on the sacred Nikaah ceremony and extravagant reception at the magnificent Emirates Palace Ballroom. Around 2000 esteemed guests, including renowned personalities as mentioned in the links above, gathered to celebrate their union.
The ballroom accommodated 850 seated guests, with an exclusive VIP majlis area seating 100 guests and additional dining tables in the pre-function area for 400 people.
The theme for the Nikaah and Reception was a Roman Enchanted Garden, a breathtaking fusion of fresh greens, exotic flowers in vibrant pinks and purples, and timeless Roman architectural elements. A captivating long walkway, adorned with a magnificent circular ceiling décor incorporating the existing chandelier, led guests toward the grand stage. Roman pillars, a black and white garden print, and vibrant floral arrangements brought the garden-inspired concept to life.
At the entrance, a mesmerizing photo booth beckoned guests, featuring the couple's logo and an intricately decorated swing amidst fresh flowers and lush green moss flooring, creating an immersive garden experience. Nearby, a fully functional water fountain stood as a central feature, adding to the magical ambiance of the venue.
