Duke of Wellington celebrated the wedding of his daughter Lady Charlotte Wellesley.
The 25 year old bride had a difficult time coming out of the car, but with the help of her father she finally did.
With the dress happily intact and its long train unfurled, the Duke marched his daughter up the path to the Church of the Incarnation in Illora, an Andalusian hill town 25 miles north-west of Granada.
Photographer's assistant Lady Charlotte, whose mother is Princess Antonia of Prussia, married Alejandro Santo Domingo, 39, a Colombian-American financier and philanthropist with a history degree from Harvard University, reported to be worth £3.2 billion.
They exchanged vows in a Catholic ceremony before a reception attended by more than 200 guests at the Duke's nearby 2,400-acre estate.
