4 Tips to Save on Your Wedding Music
Your wedding music, songs, DJ, or even your live band and entertainment can have a huge effect on your entire wedding ambience and your guests.
This can also cost you a lot and add a burden to your wedding budget; however, here are some tips to help you save on your wedding music:
- Book at Low Seasons:
A DJ or band will cost less during off-peak months and at non-peak days such as week days.
- Avoid Overtime Fees:
Overtime fees can be very expensive, so avoid booking your for too few hours .
If you book your DJ for 2 hours but end up wanting him to play for another 2 hours, he will take extra charges.
Andy Kushner of Andy Kushner Entertainment in Rockville, Maryland says, “Four hours is the standard length, and anything else will go too quickly.”
- Ask for Discounts:
Ask your DJ or Band if you can get a discount for paying your entire fee in advance.
- Skip The Team Work:
Choose a one-man DJ operation, rather than paying for a two- or three-member team to reduce your wedding budget.
