Trump and Melania's wedding occurred at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida. Following the religious ceremony, a lavish reception was held at Mar-a-Lago, one of Trump’s most iconic properties. The event was attended by approximately 350 distinguished guests from various fields, including former U.S. President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton, as well as celebrities like Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, Tony Bennett, and Richard Branson. The guest list also included prominent media personalities such as Barbara Walters and Kelly Ripa. The wedding was designed by renowned event planner Preston Bailey, who described it as a “social event filled with excitement, without a dull moment.”
For her wedding to billionaire businessman Donald Trump, which took place at his grand Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach on January 22, 2005, Melania wore a stunning wedding gown designed by Christian Dior. The gown, which was featured in the press, was valued at $200,000. It required four Dior staff members to accompany it to the venue, arriving at the church several hours before the ceremony.
Former model Melania captivated onlookers with her breathtaking wedding dress, which featured a fitted bodice and an off-the-shoulder neckline.
The creation of the gown involved 28 Dior seamstresses, utilizing 300 feet of fabric to craft the dress, which had a dramatic 13-foot train and a 16-foot veil.
Additionally, the gown’s intricate embroidery included 1,500 hand-sewn crystals and pearls, with artisans dedicating approximately 550 hours to complete the embellishments.
