Lina Dghjoqa met Mahmoud Maf at a basketball game in Jordan, they got married (katb kitab) in April 6 2012, and celebrated their wedding in September 27 2012 at Everest hotel.
- Did you hire a wedding planner or planned your wedding yourself? How was your experience?
The hotel provided us with a great wedding planner, we discussed the detail and it was much better than we expected.
- What is the biggest advice you can give any bride-to-be when planning for her wedding?
The most important thing is for the bride to finish all her tasks before the wedding in a week, so she can have time and patience to deal with whatever comes up during that week. She also has to remember that this day is the best day of her life, she should be relaxed and glowing.

- Did you pick a certain theme or color scheme? What was it? Did you use it all through the wedding?
I picked light pink and white, as for the lighting it varied from blue shades, white and pink.
- What was the most difficult and stressful part of wedding planning?
The most difficult part is picking the perfect wedding dress, one that suits your body and personality.
- Did you face any surprises? If so how did you deal with them?
I was a bit worried about the weather, Everest Hotel is on a high mountain and the weather was not stable at the time. But thank God the weather was beautiful and everything went as planned.
- Do you consider yourself as a relaxed bride or more of a bridezilla?
I was very excited about my wedding and couldn’t wait for that day to come, even though I was a bit nervous, everything changed on my wedding day, I was happy and relaxed, I remember every detail of it.

- How can you best describe your wedding and the planning process?
It was a beautiful wedding, Mahmoud and I were so happy to spend our special day with the people we love.
