Princess Iman bint Abdullah of Jordan Gets Engaged
The Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan announced the engagement of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II to Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, on Tuesday, 5 July 2022.
The engagement was held in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, as well as Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah. The engagement was also attended by members of the family of Mr. 'Jamil' Alexander Thermiotis.
Princess Iman bint Abdullah II is the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan and Alexander (Alejandro) Thermiotis is a Managing Partner at a New York based Venture Capital fund. Thermiotis was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1994 and is of Greek descent. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Alexander (Alejandro) Thermiotis is a keen racing enthusiast.
Queen Rania shared a personal message of congratulations on her Instagram feed. She penned: "Congratulations my dearest Iman; your smile has always been a gift of love that I’ve cherished since the day you were born. I wish you and Jameel a life filled with love and laughter!"
Princess Iman, born on September 27, 1996, has studied in Washington DC but she spends most of her time in Jordan and regularly attends official events with Their Majesties. As well as her philanthropic ventures, Princess Iman is known for her immaculate dress sense, following in the footsteps of her mother Queen Rania Al Abdullah. Princess Iman bint Abdullah attended The International Academy School in Amman (IAA) which is chaired by her mother HM Rania Al Abdullah.
