Most women love how the late Princess Diana looked, whether it was her style, hair or makeup, she never failed to stun us. Princess Diana has always been considered a beauty and fashion icon.
Her makeup artist, Mary Greenwell, has revealed some amazing beauty tips that Princess Diana followed.
Mary first began working with Princess Diana when they teamed up in 1991 for Vogue's December issue, which was shot by Patrick Demarchelier.

Blue Eyes Don’t Go with Blue Eyeliner
Mary revealed it was on their first shoot that she first convinced Princess Diana to stop using a blue eyeliner.
"Blue eyes should never wear blue pencil or shadow," said Mary Greenwell, "from that moment on, she was open-minded about trying new looks and colors," she added.
Remove Makeup and Clean Your Face Before Going to Bed
Make sure you always remove your makeup at the end of the day.
"Diana was very sensible when it came to her skin, she would always make sure she took her make-up off at the end of the day and make sure she had a clean face before applying make-up,” explained Mary Greenwell.
Quit Smoking and Drinking

"…After I started working with her, Diana did everything in moderation. She cut back on drinking so her skin was 100 percent. Women today need to take care of themselves the same way. If you smoke, drink, or do anything to excess, you will destroy your most important beauty asset – your skin," advised Mary.
Moisturizer and Foundation
Princess Diana had flawless skin, and according to Mary she always moisturized her skin.
"We always started with a moisturizer, a foundation to suit her skin tone exactly and then used a concealer to lift the eye area.”
Mascara
Mascara can open up your eyes and make you look more feminine.
“Mascara – which is a gift of all gifts – and lip color to suit her mood that day.”
"I always taught her to make sure when applying mascara by herself that she covered the roots of the lashes too!"
