Weddings are one of the most spectacular events that all brides and grooms look forward to perfecting to ensure that they remain embedded in their memories for as long as possible.
Choosing a wedding destination is not always an easy task for many couples, and in many cases they need to consult friends and relatives on what would be the best destination to have their wedding.
Below are some of the world's best wedding destinations:
- The big Islands, Hawaii
This is one place in the world where you will encounter a magnificent topography. It is the largest island compared to the others in the chain. The island is famous for having all the 13 climatic zones in the world.The island has a mountain covered with snow, a lunar landscape in the north east and a wet lush coast in the east.There are plenty of activities to do here including horse riding, snorkeling or just laying on the beach. Here you can have your wedding any time of the year without worrying about the weather.
- US: Bar Harbor, Maine
This is a spectacular place to have a wedding as it is surrounded by a rugged coast with dark blue waters and golden sand beaches which make it an outstanding place to have a wedding.The waters in this place are commonly mistaken for being Mediterranean by first time visitors. Guests will be mostly attracted by the Acadia national park which engulfs the Bar Harbor from the east of Mount Desert Island. It is advisable to have your wedding in July and August when the weather is warm.
- Rocky Resort, Koh Samui, Thailand
This is a place that you will never regret having your wedding at. The place is very cool with favorable climatic condition. The beaches here are a spectacle to reckon with warm ocean currents keeping the beach warm as you enjoy striding across the white sand beaches.The people here are friendly with Buddhist monks conducting the ceremony on private beach while the Thai dancers play their traditional music as the ceremony proceeds. After water blessing there is Thai dance celebration, a buffet and cake.
- Malindi Island Kenya
This is the ideal place to choose as a wedding destination. The weather is favorable throughout the year and you don't have to be curious about seasons. The island is endowed with natural white sand beaches which are bathed by a current ocean. There are so many Italian hotels and casinos which offer very good services so you can enjoy Europe many miles away. Guest will be entertained by local traditional dancers which will leave their mouth wide open.
- Half Moon, Jamaica
Jamaica is an island country located in the Caribbean and this is where you should be eager to have your wedding. The Half Moon resort in Montego Bay is where you should bring your entire guest list for a wedding. The resort lies on a 1.6 km of white sand beach, you can get married beneath a century old waterwheel, besides there is a natural waterfall in a tropical garden.
- La Maltose, Santorini, Greece
This is a five star hotel in Greece situated in one of the country's favorite islands and it offers a wedding package of three days where the couple can hire the whole hotel with free use of the spa
- Tanjung Rhu, Malaysia
This is a luxurious resort in the south east pacific. It offers a traditional Malay ceremony complete with costumes. It is set on an expansive white sand beach which is 2km long and has gardens overlooking the sea. The guests are served with sumptuous meals and wine.
To sum up it all these are just but a few places that I was able to mention but there are other many other places you can choose for your wedding destination provided you comply with the visa requirement of countries in which these destinations are located. For you to be able to access these places you better arm yourself with the necessary visa and do it in time to avoid delays which might cause havoc at the very end.
