Nobu Hospitality Expands Middle East Presence with New Oman Project

Nobu Hospitality is expanding its footprint in the Middle East, unveiling plans for a new luxury development in Oman: the Nobu Hotel, Restaurant, and Residences Muscat.

The project, described by the brand as a "distinctive destination" that merges upscale residential living with its renowned hospitality offerings and lifestyle amenities, signals Nobu's ongoing evolution in the region.

This venture marks the second collaboration between Nobu and Enevoria Development, following their partnership on the Nobu Hotel, Restaurant, and Residences Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the northernmost emirate of the UAE.

For this Omani endeavor, Nobu Hospitality is joining forces with the Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group), the Omani government's development arm focused on boosting the nation's tourism sector.

Nobu Hospitality CEO Trevor Horwell expressed enthusiasm for Oman, highlighting its "extraordinary combination of natural beauty, genuine hospitality, and rich cultural heritage."

Located on the scenic Yiti Beach, approximately 28 kilometers from Muscat's city center and a 30-minute drive from Muscat International Airport, the development will encompass 60,000 square meters. Plans include an 80-key Nobu Hotel, a signature Nobu Restaurant, spa and fitness facilities, swimming pools, and an exclusive Nobu beach club. A limited collection of branded Nobu Residences will also be available.

The Nobu development will complement other upcoming projects in the area, such as the Nikki Beach Resort & Spa, slated to open in late 2025. The Nikki Beach property will feature 140 rooms and suites, 30 private pool villas, three pools, a beach club, and a marina with a yacht club.

Nobu Hospitality's strategy of incorporating mixed-use developments continues to gain traction across the Middle East, with current projects spanning the UAE, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

Looking ahead to 2027, the Nobu Hotel, Restaurant, and Residences Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is set to offer over 7.8 kilometers of beachfront and Arabian Gulf views. The development will also include a spa, fitness center, pools, and a Nobu beach club.

From its beginnings with the first Nobu Hotel in Las Vegas in 2013, Nobu Hospitality has expanded significantly, now encompassing 46 hotels and 20 branded residences, both operational and in development globally.
