Middle East Wedding Alliance Launched in Dubai

Dubai-based event industry professionals launched The Middle East Wedding Alliance (MEWA) at The London Project, Bluewater Island in Dubai last week. 

MEWA is supported by The International Live Events Association (ILEA), a global community of thousands of creative event professionals whose skills, expertise and experience power some of the most recognized and respected live events around the world. 

Founding members of MEWA include: Arun Bablani and Rahul Kumar of Vivaah Weddings, Zainab Al Salih - Founder and Creative Director of Carousel, Emma Pope  of EMAAR Hospitality Group and Sherin Al Alami - Managing Director at La Cle Entertainment. 

MEWA was created out of a need to regulate the industry, whilst also increasing engagement and offer training services to wedding industry professionals. Membership to MEWA is open to all registered wedding-related businesses and freelancers in the Middle East.
