Khushbu and Aatish's Destination in Abu Dhabi

The first Indian destination wedding from Nagpur, India of Khushbu & Aatish, in the UAE, the destination wedding was to celebrate a lovely couple, Khushbu, an accomplished award-winning lawyer, and Aatish, an accomplished doctor.

A beautiful two-day celebration at Ritz Carlton, opposite the Iconic Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi took place in early 2020.

Intimate, exclusive, gathering of well-traveled and high-net-worth Indian business families from India and around the world were mesmerized by the wedding experience curated by the founder and designer of BAQAA, Rachna Chadha, who ensured memories of a lifetime were captured in pictures and the hearts of the parents, Anuja and Dilip Chajed and the couple.

It was a Marwari wedding designed and executed with great style and panache starting with a traditional Indian welcome glamourized by European Lady Drummers at the entrance of the luxurious hotel!

A sweet Mehndi set up with green and gold monestra leaves, colorful accessories, and a beautiful couple swing against an Arabesque backdrop.

The sangeet was a butterfly theme as the bride Khushbu loves butterflies! The endearing dances by the family and the electrifying performances by the Bollywood singer Shalmali Kholgade were the perfect ingredients for an entertaining and energetic evening. The entire family was dressed in Tarun Tahiliani’s designed couture gowns.

The same ballroom was transformed into a regal setting for the Jaimala ( Grand garlanding ceremony of Indian Hindu wedding) followed by a gala dinner. The couple's entry was grand and royal! Rachna Chadha, personally conceptualized a stunning choreographed sequence for the entry with dancers holding diyas ( small lamps) and showering fresh rose petals. The live singing during Jaimala by the talented Bollywood Singer Roop Kumar Rathod was mesmerizing.

To further celebrate this moment the wedding designers choreographed an ode to love with Sufi songs and Kathak dancing which was full of expressions and grace! The couple looked stunning in Sabyasachi Indian couture in champagne gold. A setting no less than a Bollywood setup.

The magical finale! An ethereal wedding mandap in white with thousands of red flowers against the iconic white Grand Mosque was breathtaking. This setting with soulful mantras, instrumental shehnai, sitar, and flute was spellbinding and so commented on by the wedding guests.
