The 18th season of International Fashion Week Dubai (IFWD) ended spectacularly, marking a major milestone—10 years of redefining global fashion. Over the past decade, IFWD has grown into a trusted platform, showcasing the work of more than 800 designers from across the globe and hosting iconic sponsors like Galeries Lafayette Paris.
Organized by The Opulence Events LLC and supported by the International Fashion Council, IFWD has tirelessly worked to elevate Dubai as a premier fashion destination.
It has become an essential part of the region’s cultural landscape, earning the trust of international designers, trade agencies, and tourism partners.
Celebrating 10 Years of Fashion Excellence:
Since its inception, IFWD has been much more than a fashion event—it’s been a movement. IFWD has put Dubai on the global fashion map through its dedication and hard work, alongside cities like Paris, Milan, and New York. Founder Cheryle Dias, reflecting on this milestone, shared: "International Fashion Week Dubai was created to give designers a voice and a stage to shine on. After 10 years, we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, and we’re committed to making this platform even stronger for talent worldwide." A Season to Remember:
Season 18 brought together an extraordinary lineup of designers who transformed the runway into a celebration of art, culture, and creativity. The event opened with Cheryle Dias’s Paris-inspired luxury couture collection, immediately setting a tone of elegance and grandeur. Egyptian designer Mohammed Nour delivered a heartfelt tribute to Lebanon with a collection rich in vibrant colors and intricate patterns, reflecting both resilience and beauty.
Lila Bentouati, representing Algeria, mesmerized audiences with her luxurious kaftans, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern elegance. From Germany, Dorina Walety showcased a chic selection of party wear, while Susanne Houstane from the USA added an extra layer of glamour with her statement-making luxury eyewear.
Their collaboration brought a unique synergy of fashion and accessories to the runway. Iranian designer Horia Abaya redefined tradition with her collection of opulent abayas, combining timeless grace with innovative designs.
Meanwhile, Al Asaad, from the UAE and Syria, captured attention with his sophisticated evening wear, featuring flowing fabrics and impeccable detailing. The show closed on a high note with Yaser Albik, also from the UAE and Syria, whose couture collection was a masterpiece of intricate designs and breathtaking silhouettes. His grand finale was a fitting end to a season that celebrated fashion in all its forms.

Plans are already in motion to expand its reach, with new editions of the event set to launch in Qatar, Bahrain, New York, and the UK.
