Inside Paris Hilton and Carter Reum's Wedding
Paris Hilton, the entrepreneur, and reality TV star wed venture capitalist Carter Reum at the former Bel Air estate of the bride’s late grandfather Barron Hilton, the successor to hotelier Conrad Hilton.
Carter proposed a ring designed by Jean Dousset, the great-grandson of Louis Cartier. The emerald-cut diamond was inspired by classic Art Nouveau aesthetics and the vaulted glass ceiling of the Grand Palais.
On 11 November, 2021, the bride walked down the aisle at her grandfather’s former estate wearing a custom Oscar de la Renta wedding gown while Kim Petras sang “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
Carter wore an Ermenegildo Zegna made-to-measure navy silk single-breasted shawl-lapel tuxedo.
For the reception, Paris changed into a second, shorter look by Oscar de la Renta and a pair of Aquazzura Purist Pumps so she could dance all night.
Paris and Carter enlisted top wedding planner Mindy Weiss and her team to handle everything from aesthetics to logistics.
After the couple said "I do" and were pronounced husband and wife, guests gathered for a seated dinner in the tent, where Demi Lovato gave a special performance of "I Will Always Love You." The newlyweds’ first dance was to Bruno Mars’ "Just the Way You Are."
The five-tier wedding cake was created by Joanie and Leigh’s Cakes. The top of the cake was emblazoned with a full-sized gold princesses crown, similar to the one the wedding invitations came in.
