A Fairy Tale Garden Wedding in Lebanon
Every bride dreams of her wedding day, but this wedding is definitely a dream come true! The luxurious wedding of Amer and Rosemary was a magical fairy tale planned by the amazing Neiman Azzi and the beautiful bride shared her wedding details with Arabia Weddings.
A number of executives and employees from Google, YouTube, Intel and other digital giants of 31 different nationalities were in Beirut to celebrate the wedding of Amer Deeba and Rosemary Cremesti.
She, who studied at the American University of Beirut, is responsible for Google's corporate partners in the Americas and founder of the Maps for Business Partner ecosystem mapping.
Amer Deeba of Lebanon was until recently CCO of Qualys Inc, a Delaware-based provider of cloud-based security services.
Based in California, the couple chose The Legend Venue, in Nahr el-Kalb, to celebrate with their parents and introduce their foreign friends and colleagues to the Lebanese Way of Life. The location was on the banks of an ancient river (Lycus in Nahr El Kalb) that was covered with a stage and hosted Lebanon’s top talents. The legend venue is a 2000-year-old archeological site that was completely transformed into a royal garden decorated with art, beautiful flowers, fireworks, laser lights, and the couple's logo (love).
Dabké, oriental dance, and Brazilian music group entertained the wedding guests, and the celebration organized by Neiman Azzi Events and catered by Cat&Mouth was described by guests as a perfect balance between opulence and elegance.
For entertainment, a spectacular range of opera singers, national dancers, and the most popular regional singers performed at the wedding, and, of course, music played until dawn.
Top chefs from Lebanon catered incredible Lebanese food and hosted live cooking stations.
All the families of Marjeyoun, the groom's home village, were present, as well as friends, including Richie Haykal, Simone Kosremelli, Nicolas and Michèle Gharzouzi (at the height of her elegance), Amal Hourani, Saleh, and Hala Barakat, Samer el-Amine, Nassouh el-Amine, English art collector Andrew Wynn and his Lebanese wife Nada Bayoud, AUBMC doctors, including Samer Deeba, Samer Doughan, Karen Karam, and Ali Hallal, not to mention the groom's maternal uncle, outgoing minister Ghattas Khoury.
The traditional "wedding list" or "gift registry" was very special: The gracious couple asked their guests to replace wedding gifts with donations to charities.
As for the wedding photography, the talented Yves Lahoud and his team captured every magical moment at this regal wedding.
"The wedding was amazing thanks to the talented artists and designers from around the world who worked with us to make this dream happen: Neiman Azzi (the legend of a wedding planner who executed this fairytale wedding), Ingrid Bawab, Mark Hatem, Huda Azzi (General Manager), B Bloomed Headpiece Designers, Oscar De La Renta (customized by Jin Wang), Georges El Mendelek, Said Wehbe, to name a few," said the bride.
"Our guests danced hysterically, sometimes shed a few tears and left Beirut with a whole lot of love in their hearts! We really wanted to share our culture with everyone," added Rosemary.
