Confessions of a Real Bride: Noffah Atoom
Noffah Atoom and Yazan Kashoqa met at work in Amman, Jordan. “He was my manager with a soft heart” Noffah says about Yazan.
The couple got married on Friday, August 16th at Zuwar Restaurant and Venue in Amman.
Here is what Noffah had to say about the wedding planning process:
- Did you hire a wedding planner or planned the wedding yourself?
ME, MYSELF AND I planned it all from A-Z!
- What is the biggest advice you can give any bride-to-be?
The biggest advice I can give our future brides and grooms, is that no matter how stressful things get try not to take out the stress on each other. The period before the wedding is a very critical time and when you are stressed try to be there for each other instead of taking it out on each other.
- What was the theme or color scheme you picked for your wedding?
I chose pink since it is my favorite color and my bridesmaid’s dresses were pink too.
- Do you recommend specific suppliers you worked with?
YES! I recommend my photographer Alyaseer Wedding Photography, the best photography I have ever seen. They are specialized in making your day even more special, fun, artistic and creative; they pay attention to every detail.
To me the photos are the most important part of the wedding because they are the only memory you will have forever and for generations to come.
- What was the most difficult and stressful part of wedding planning?
The most difficult part was coping with the stress and trying to choose the best people for the job.
- Did you face any surprises?
I was surprised at how well everything turned out, but disappointed that the D.J. didn’t follow my playlist.
"No matter how stressful things get try not to take out the stress on each other"
- Do you consider yourself as a relaxed bride or more of a bridezilla?
I was the all time BRIDEZILLA and very stressed.
- Describe your wedding day and the planning process.
Despite all the stress, it was the best experience; we had fun planning it and it turned out to be the most amazing day of my life.
