Claire Pettibone 2022 Wedding Dress Collection "The Three Graces"
American fashion designer Claire Pettibone built her famous company in 1994. In 2005, Claire Pettibone introduced couture bridal gowns to her collection. Claire Pettibone is known for her wedding dress designs that are inspired by the gardens, vineyards, and rustic and vintage wedding styles.
This wedding dress collection was inspired by Botticelli's famous painting "Primavera" and the five designs were created like eternally beautiful works of art.
Claire Pettibone is known for her ethereal, vintage-inspired designs and released her 2022 wedding dresses in this year's virtual Bridal Market. "When I began designing new dresses for this season, I felt a desire to create a collection that would take your breath away... that would be eternally beautiful... like a work of art," Claire Pettibone shared.
Her new collection "The Three Graces" was inspired by a bygone era and named for the daughters of Zeus and Hera, known as the three graces, who bestow their gifts of charm, beauty, and creativity on humanity.
"They have been painted and sculpted throughout the ages by masters, including Botticelli, Raphael, Rubens, and Canova to name just a few," Claire shares.
"In Botticelli's famous painting 'Primavera,' the three graces are depicted alongside Venus at the center of the garden, and Chloris and Flora off to the side, so of course, what garden would be complete without them? I took a little liberty with naming the dresses, but these iconic symbols of beauty and creativity served as my muses," Claire adds.
The 2022 wedding dresses feature beautiful fabrics and materials, as well as pretty ribbon detailing.
