Bring The Outdoors Inside for Your Wedding
When you love the idea of having an outdoor wedding, but the weather is not in your favor, you can still have that outdoor garden vibe inside a ballroom! There are plenty of fresh ideas on how to bring nature indoors for your big day. So how about an indoor garden wedding theme?
This time we are bringing you inspiration from a luxurious lush garden wedding that took place at The Beverly Hills Hotel, designed by the talented Eddie Zaratsian and wedding planner Erica España Lakin of Twine Events. For this wonderful lush wedding, the team collaborated to create a garden wedding theme indoor experience like no other.
"We came up with a vision for their wedding day that centered around the feeling of being in a lush, fragrant flower garden," said Eddie Zaratsian of Eddie Zaratsian Lifestyle and Design which produces breathtaking weddings, events, and floral subscriptions that delight the senses and bring beauty to life.
Here are a few of the ways they approached this indoor garden wedding theme:

Incorporate Botanical Details Throughout the Event
For this lush indoor garden wedding theme, botanical details were incorporated throughout the event and not just in the floral arrangements.
They used emerald vines on the dinner and salad plates, delicate floral watercolor illustrations on the bars, as well as on the menus, seating cards, table numbers, and other stationery, Even the dining chairs had organic details.
Creating a Garden Vibe by Decorating the Space Vertically
The guests were enveloped in a garden environment by having the space decorated vertically and not just at a tabletop level.
Tall tree centerpieces were used and decorated with floating single blooms for a whimsical, enchanted garden effect. Guests were welcomed to the reception with two much taller trees flanking the entrance to the ballroom.
Keep the Floral Arrangements Loose and Organic
The floral arrangements were kept loose and organic like they had just been cut from a garden.
The centerpieces were designed as if they were overflowing with fresh garden flowers like cosmos, poppies, garden roses, spray roses, and tulips.
Instead of trying to tame each stem into a controlled shape, they were kept wild, curving, and abundant in form so that their natural beauty could speak for itself.
Use the Right Lighting
The lighting used at the wedding added dimension and atmosphere. The ballroom at The Beverly Hills Hotel already has a stunning floral chandelier in the center of the room, so they added to it small accent lighting.
The overall light level was kept low and romantic; flickering candlelight from small hanging votives and clear candelabras on the tables, plus warm up-lights along the walls around the perimeter of the room.
