BRIDE Abu Dhabi 2019 A Wedding & Lifestyle Spectacular
This summer’s must-visit shopping destination – BRIDE Abu Dhabi 2019 – lived up to its glowing reputation as the region’s leading wedding and lifestyle event with four enriching, educational and entertaining days, featuring over 100 regional and international brands. The 17thedition of BRIDE Abu Dhabi, which took place from June 26 to 29, came to an end in style on Saturday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), with a very special guest appearance from her Highness SheikhaJawaher bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Member of the Board of Trustees of the World Youth Business Club in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Massive crowds of eager visitors, including fashion-savvy women, brides-to-be, esteemed members of the media and very special guests, came to BRIDE Abu Dhabi 2019 every day to shop for exclusive deals on the latest bridal, Arabic and Indian fashions, haute couture, and dazzling jewellery, along with a huge array of fashion, beauty, health and luxury innovations at extremely competitive prices. The event’s organisers, Informa Markets, are already making plans for the 18th edition of BRIDE Abu Dhabi, which will take place next year, from January 22 to 25.
Excited visitors gathered at the Main Stage and Runway area in the Secret Garden every day to check out captivating collections from the most in-demand international and regional fashion designers. Leading designers, such as Lamia Abi Nader, Apple Wang, Mariam Al Khalaf, D-Line by Lee, GR Abaya by Ahqui, Dojon by Nisrine, Al Daker Couture, Daisy Bridal – Pret Couture, Atelier Zuhra, Wadima Al Ameri, GarimonRoferos Couture, and SaherDia, showcased their latest masterpieces.
Plenty of discerning women were only too happy to treat themselves to all-over pampering session in the Tips & Toes Nail Bar, while Tunisian singer extraordinaire Walaaamazed the crowds as she performed Arabic songs from her magnificent repertoire, at the Muse Stand
Insightful demonstrations and workshops by Blu Chocolate, Soraya Shawky, Qomrah Photography, DANS Middle East, Christian Wunscher, Royal Gym, Laure Sejean, Icons Couture, and Amanda Mattar, along with comprehensive guides on the topics of ‘Chiropractors Adjustments and Back Pain Alignment’ and ‘Bringing Dreams to Life: A Guide to Choosing your Best Wedding Dress’ also attracted great interest from all in attendance.
Some of the Middle East’s most popular style consultants and influencers, along with Her Highness SheikhaJawaher bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, visited BRIDE Abu Dhabi to learn about all the latest wedding and Arabic lifestyle-industry trends and styles. Reem Erhama, Sabah Abdullah Al Rumaithi, Amal Abdullah, Reem Al Qasimi, Dalil Abu Dhabi, Mariam Al Yassi, Maitha Mohammed, Al Reem Saif,Beauty Queen, and Khaleeji Weddingswere all at the event to enjoy some summer shopping in preparation for Eid Al Adha, while top celebrity make-up artists Laure Sejean and Sorayaattracted much attention as well. Other crowd favourites at BRIDE Abu Dhabi 2019 were ‘The Art of “I Do”’, an intriguing and insightful workshop presented by The Nikon School of Wedding Photography & Videography, and the Nikon Photowalk.
The Kids Zone, where Golden Kids Entertainment and Build-A-Bear Workshop provided endless excitement for all the little ones in attendance, proved extremely popular. Kids were immersed in a world of fun and educational activities, including a soft play area, balloon workshops and slime shows. The Food Village, a brand-new feature at this year’s event, was also a big hit with visitors, who were able to indulge in delicious dishes and tasty treats from Ben’s Cookies, House of Pops, Jetlag Café, Katrina Sweets, and more.
Excitement is already building for next year’s BRIDE Abu Dhabi at ADNEC following the massive success of this year’s event.
