Abu Dhabi Promotes Destination Weddings and Celebrations at India's WOW Event
The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is working round the clock to further establish Abu Dhabi as a world-class events destination while conserving, promoting and leveraging Abu Dhabi’s rich heritage, culture and tourism assets. One key market segment Abu Dhabi is focusing on is Destination Weddings and Celebrations, particularly from India.
Sarah Julie Ferry, Weddings Lead at Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau, part of DCT Abu Dhabi, said, "In line with our ambition to grow the emirate’s tourism sector, Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau is focusing on the Destination Weddings & Celebrations segment to attract additional international visitors. DCT Abu Dhabi will lead a delegation of 10 participants representing the top destination wedding venues in Abu Dhabi as well as showcase its support services, to showcase at WOW Expo which will be held in Mumbai on 13 and 14 July 2023 as part of the larger WOW Awards Asia event taking place at Jio World Convention Centre.
Abu Dhabi's participants include Rotana Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, InterContinental Abu Dhabi, Al Raha Beach Hotel, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, Erth, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau and Equifax Tourism.
