The 7th Italian Wedding Awards Ends With Plans to Go International
The 7th edition of the Italian Wedding Awards was held in Campania at the 5 star MEC Paestum Hotel on 2 December 2022.
The Italian Wedding Awards is not only an industry event, but also the largest wedding networking community in Italy with more than 10,000 suppliers. It includes Italian event and wedding planners in every region covering destination weddings in Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Venice, Amalfi Coast, Apulia, as well as Rome and Sicily.
The Founder and Producer of the Italian Wedding Awards, Camelia Lambru, is one of the best known destination wedding and event planners in Italy. She is also an international speaker and the creator of WEDx (the International Wedding Conference), an annual B2B conference.
The Italian Wedding Awards are considered the gold standard of the industry, it recognizes those businesses which exceed the expectations of their customers, provide outstanding service, and positively promote and inspire their clients.
Italian Wedding Awards is not only a networking event, but, as a convention, it offers an opportunity to learn from industry experts. It has become a useful tool to help connect the best wedding suppliers with their brides, planners and other industry vendors.
The national and international jury guarantees the transparency of the contest. This year, it was formed by, not only, professionals in each category, but also by wedding planners who expressed their opinions from a less technical point of view, thus reflecting more of the clients’ point of view.
The event was also an occasion to involve many international wedding planners in a FAM trip to experience the beauty of the Amalfi Coast including site inspections, vineyard tours and food tasting excursions in Michelin star restaurants. These FAM trips continue throughout the year and provide wedding planners with the opportunity to scout spectacular venues in Italy.
The theme of this year’s Wedding Awards was the 2023 trends for destination weddings in Italy. From the new arrangements that place an accent on the setup, such as the marble tables with spot lights created especially for this occasion by Exclusive Catering in Salerno, to the floral decorations by Finesse Eventi and Ricca Events, performance art entertainment by Qart Events and the dance group Redmonium, with magic and mentalism with Paolo Fulgione all wrapped up in the play of lights expertly created by Light N Sound.
After this 7th Italian edition, Camelia Lambru, with her international vision and contacts is taking on a new challenge and broadening the scope of the Italian Wedding Awards by going international.
